Get your Free MapTP AJAX Application Key
Use the Free MapTP AJAX API to develop professional mapping applications with the unique interactive mapping technology of MapTP. The applications can be used free of charge on a public, non-password-protected, freely accessible, commercial or non commercial website on the internet. You will be asked to agree to the complete Terms of Use during the registration process. There is a daily limit of 10,000 transactions or sessions per application key. Maps may contain advertising. If you would like to use the MapTP AJAX API free of advertising on your website or in your product, please contact MapTP sales.
To use the Free MapTP AJAX API, you need to create an application key. The application key is bound to a directory on your web server and to a map. You will be asked to choose both during the registration process. For each application key, you can create as many directory aliases as you like. This extends the validity of an application key to further directories on the same or different web servers.
MapTP AJAX API Version 2 Registration
A note about previous versions: With the release of MapTP AJAX API version 2.0 the registration for the 1.2 API has been discontinued. You can continue to use version 1.2. It is still supported. However, the recommendation is to use version 2. It is the more mature, faster, and feature rich software. New functionality is only added to version 2. Existing users of version 1.2 do not have to register again. Go directly to the MapTP administration site and add a 2.1 application key.
Administer your MapTP AJAX API Application Key
Once you registered to receive a MapTP AJAX API application key you can administer your key and your personal profile on the MapTP administration site. Here you can access your application key, create a new key, or add and remove URLs from your key.
Switch to MapTP AJAX API Version 2.3
The current API version is MapTP AJAX API 2.3. If you already have an AJAX application key, you can switch to version 2.3 on the MapTP administration site.
If you are registering for a MapTP AJAX application key for the first time, you first have to proceed with registration for MapTP AJAX API version 2.1 via the above button, and then you can switch to the new AJAX API version 2.3.
