With 50+ core POI categories ineach market, and 80+ more in North America, location-enhanced applications can become even more robust with content. NAVTEQ continues to enrich POIs with Alternative Fuel information, Zagat Survey for NAVTEQ ratings and reviews, and Fodor's CityGuide.

Users want enhanced orientation and sense of place.  Other visual content impacts the user experience by providing graphical/photographic images to location-enhanced applications, such as digital terrain models with satellite imagery and landmark footprints.
