PRIZES -- EMEA

The 2008 NAVTEQ Global LBS Challenge is BIGGER than ever, with a global prize pool consisting of cash, map data licenses, sponsor licenses and services, that is valued at over $4.5 million US! A Grand Prize winner along with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd runner-ups will be awarded for each of the three regions.

	NAVTEQ will award the Grand Prize Winner €35,000 in cash (ARV: €35,000.) and one three-year NAVTEQ territory license, directly with NAVTEQ, to launch the winning Solution submitted to the LBS Challenge (ARV: €225,000. Runners-Up will receive €7,500 in cash (ARC: 7,500) and one three-year NAVTEQ territory license.
	deCarta will award one year ($250,000 US ARV) worth of free licensing of its Drill Down Server geospatial software platform or Hosted Web Services to the Grand Prize winner and each of the category winners for both the NAVTEQ Global LBS Challenge in The Americas and EMEA competitions.
	PTV will award platform license agreements for each semifinalist company in the EMEA region valued up to €5,000 and valid for one year.
