■ NAVTEQ Transport enables customers to use the NAVTEQ Map in
combination with any truck application as it is customized for these
kind of vehicles

DATA FEATURES

■ NAVTEQ Transport is an add on to the NAVTEQ core database that
covers attributes that fulfi ll the needs of the transport industry
■ Key attributes are Height, Weight, Width and Length Restrictions,
Legal Truck Restrictions, Dangerous Goods Limitations, Truck Related
Warning Signs, and selected truck POI
■ The product is fi eld collected and can be used for any kind of
application like routing, optimization and truck navigation
■ This content is delivered as external file

- Physical restrictions containing certain coverage in the lower 48,
across all Functional Classes. Legal guidelines include all federal
’STAA Routes’ that can accommodate truck traffic and 12 states with
state designated routes
