DESCRIPTION
■ NAVTEQ Camera Alert enables applications to warn users against violation of traffic restrictions and inform users about locations of cameras and radar traps

DATA FEATURES
■ NAVTEQ Camera Alert is a database with a defined range of cameras and radar traps linked to the navigable NAVTEQ Map. The file contains types of cameras, X,Y positions and attributes to ensure that warnings come through to the driver of the car only when they
are meaningful – avoiding false alerts
■ False alerts (e.g. warnings for cameras that don’t exist) are reduced through monthly updates and robust quality checks
■ This content is delivered in an external fi le, which enables NAVTEQ customers to build and integrate specific “warnings” for a defined range of cameras and radar traps linked to the database
