Marc leads the team that creates and operates the various programs and services that support individuals and companies that develop enterprise and/or consumer solutions using the NAVTEQ map®, including any related products and services. In addition, Marc's team engages with key technical and strategic partners to accelerate development by providing choices in geospatial platform tools, business channels, value-added technologies and alternative content.
Marc joined NAVTEQ from Nokia, where he was the head of developer programs, based primarily at Nokia’s corporate headquarters in Espoo, Finland. While there he launched several developer and partner offerings, including Forum Nokia PRO. Prior to joining Nokia, Marc was with Motorola for several years, having worked in the mobile devices, cellular infrastructure, enterprise and semiconductor business sectors. Prior to leaving Motorola to join Nokia, Marc created and led the team that launched Motorola’s Motocoders developer program. Marc is open to being contacted by developers and partners, and he often arranges private meetings upon request at popular industry shows such as CTIA, 3GSM, CommunicAsia, Smartphone Expo, JavaOne and many others. Stephanie comes to NN4D as part of NAVTEQ's acquisition of Mapsolute. Based in Germany, Stephanie is responsible for technical writing, documentation, forum and email support for the Mapsolute Developer Zone. Stephanie has a strong blend of technical acumen and documentation subject matter expertise, making her a valuable resource to NN4D.
Stephanie received a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt, Germany and a master’s degree in computer science from a joint program at the University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt and the University of Wisconsin – Platteville. Danielle Davis is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago with postgraduate studies at the University of Mississippi majoring in Broadcast Journalism. She comes to the PDP with over 10 years of event management experience working with clients such as McDonalds, LOREAL/SoftSheen-Carson, Coca-Cola, US Cellular and Walgreens. She has extensive experience in media relations in addition to broadcast journalism.
Marketing Manager Partner and Developer Program
Laura supports NAVTEQ’s partner and developer program initiatives through direct interaction with location developers, value chain partners, developer communities, customers and companies contributing to location application innovation. Her focus is to coordinate engagements between developer companies with innovative solutions and partners representing key technology providers, original equipment manufacturers and distribution channels.
Laura has an electrical engineering background focused on wireless communication systems and digital signal processing. Her previous work experience ranges from hardware and software engineering in consumer electronics to military communication systems. In addition to her solid technical background, she has most recently been involved in technical sales and business development activities in the area of LBS, developing wireless carrier and third-party application developer relationships. Laura has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from San Diego State University and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University. Catherine has been managing strategic marketing programs and communications initiatives with corporations and non-profit organizations for over 15 years. Prior to joining the partner and developer team, Catherine managed global programs and campaigns for IBM PartnerWorld for Developers. She also was responsible for creating and executing the online marketing plan as a member of IBM’s launch team for developerWorks, an online developer portal.
As a member of the marketing team, Catherine is responsible for developing the online programs and roadmaps to identify opportunities and drive implementation of products on the web portal. She received her master’s degree in public affairs from the State University of New York at Buffalo, where she focused on strategic planning and program management. Adam has been authoring and managing technical content and community services for eight years. Much of his work focuses on creating innovative programs and services to bridge the information gap between organizations, communities and users through various internet technologies.
With a bachelor’s degree in technical writing and a master’s of education in instructional design, Adam's experience, education and leadership has led to positions with a “Big 5” financial services company, a leading wireless device manufacturer and a boutique internet consulting firm. In his role at NAVTEQ, Adam and his team are responsible for authoring, sourcing and aggregating professional documentation and content to support the growth of the LBS developer community. Manager

Ejaz is a technical consultant at NAVTEQ. He received his degree in computer science from the University of Illinois and has over 12 years of experience in information technology. Prior to joining NAVTEQ, he worked for Lucent Technologies and Tellabs Inc. on a variety of software development and testing projects.
As a consultant, Ejaz supports NN4D, the NAVTEQ Global LBS Challenge and NAVTEQ’s developer forums. Ejaz also authors whitepapers and delivers technical webinars to the NN4D community. North America Technical Consulting Partner and Developer Program
Jon has been working in the information technology field for over six years, beginning with perfecting his network and hardware skills at Columbia College Chicago and expanding his program and software abilities at Calyon Financial. Prior to NAVTEQ, Jon worked with security and protection at Bank of America.
Having attended Purdue University and the Illinois Institute of Technology for a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Jon enjoys the challenge of programming various systems to make corporate operations effective and efficient. Mike has worked in the information technology industry for over 20 years with technical experience in both operating systems and application technologies, as well as specialization in the management of complex implementation and deployment projects.
Prior to coming to NAVTEQ, Mike was responsible for several mobile application solutions on a wide range of devices and carriers. He worked with a variety of verticals such as the Indian government, the building industry and the airline industry, as well as wholesale sales and distribution organizations in the U.K., Germany and Australia. Mike has also been a supplier technical lead for large project implementations at both Telecom Italia and the U.K. Ministry of Defence. Vincent has been involved in journalism and the web profession for 11 years. He has worked as the St. Croix bureau sports writer for the Virgin Islands Daily News and has been involved as an online journalist for both the Indianapolis Star and NOLA.com in New Orleans.
Vincent received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama and studied international relations at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. His role is to edit and update content for NN4D. Internet Analyst Resources and Community Services Team Partner and Developer Program
Jill is a creative communicator, specializing in securing relationships with customers, partners and distributors. She launches successful go-to-market global marketing programs, and she has a proven track record in developing memorable solutions by leveraging her experience in web production, video, advertising, trade shows and integrated marketing campaigns.
Jill has held senior management positions with start-ups and large companies in retail, consumer and technology industries. Early in her career, Jill held positions with Walt Disney Pictures and Young & Rubicam Entertainment. Marketing Manager Partner and Developer Program
Kellie has over 15 years’ experience in marketing, product management and account management in the technology and financial service areas. Prior to joining the partner and developer program team, Kellie spent six years in NAVTEQ’s corporate marketing department, where she was involved on a global basis with branding, sales support marketing and press relations.
Kellie has a master’s of business administration in marketing and finance from Loyola University Chicago and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa. Kellie and her team are responsible for identifying and promoting NN4D’s programs and building its infrastructure to support developers and partner companies looking to grow in the LBS arena. Greg has been a geographic information systems professional for 10 years and a web developer for the last seven years. Greg has watched the web grow from a static information-based platform to the dynamic user-generated-content pages of today’s “web 2.0.” His combination of GIS and web skills has placed Greg in the unique position to take advantage of the emerging “geo-web” of which NAVTEQ is such an integrated part.
Before joining the NAVTEQ team as a technical consultant, Greg worked for the City of San Jose in the planning division and was an early adopter of web-mapping “mash-ups,” as well as a creator of 3-D buildings for Google Earth. Greg also teaches a Google Earth workshop at the City College of San Francisco. SSteven has been in software development for more than 15 years, most of which he has spent in the wireless communication network infrastructure.
Steven has a master’s degree in engineering of automatic control. His expertise in projects ranges from embedded microcontrollers and telematics to wireless communication network management software. Dong Sun is a technical consultant for the PDP. She has been a senior consultant and GIS professional for more than seven years. Before joining NAVTEQ, Dong worked as a Sr. GIS Developer for the Computer Sciences Corporation. She has worked with the Las Vegas Valley Water District and New York Electric & Gas companies. Dong holds triple Masters degrees with M.S. in Computer Science, M.S. in GIS, and M.B.A.

Tom has over 20 years of licensing, sales and business development experience in content and new media. Immediately prior to joining NAVTEQ, Tom ran his own M & A practice, producing deal flow, valuations and transactions as a licensed business broker.

Developer Alliance Manager Partner and Developer Program
Pia has been working in the telecommunications industry for over 10 years in the areas of partnership management, sales and marketing. Prior to joining NAVTEQ, Pia was a consultant conducting user-experience research and service design projects in the areas of mobile internet and LBS.
For several years Pia worked with Nokia’s mobile software and developers, and she has also worked with the world's leading EDA software company, Cadence Design Systems. Jeff has been doing technical writing for over a decade, including stints in the entertainment software industry and most recently in telecommunications. Prior to NAVTEQ, Jeff worked in the product development group at Sega of America and in the technical support area at Cisco Systems.
Jeff attended San Jose State University with a focus in journalism and technical writing and thus enjoys creating both technical and non-technical content. Based in NAVTEQ's Santa Clara, CA office, Jeff is responsible for executing ongoing technical writing, as well as NN4D Partner Zones, NAVTEQ Connections and PDP webinar management. Kristina made the transition to the partner and developer program team after spending time with NAVTEQ’s consumer group. Kristina provides marketing event support on a global basis for developer-targeted shows and events, including the NAVTEQ Global LBS Challenge, JavaOne, Symbian Smartphone and others.
Kristina’s experience working within the NAVTEQ sales organization has enabled her to take an immediate lead to ensure that NAVTEQ puts its best presence forward during events.
